The mobile buy back centres is intended to be operated through an APP that registers waste reclaimers and recycling companies to trace and monitor data regarding sales, material recovered and amount of waste reduced on a daily basis.
The App is connected to a cellular and gives information to the users instantly.
The system integrates informal sector into the recycling chain. It also serves as a permanent financial record keeping for all users which opens up access to credit opportunities for start-up SMEs. Mobile buy back centres, private businesses and households will be registered using a web-based technology that captures participant`s details.
A QR code is generated to verify and register each client / household. The collected recyclable waste will be weighed, transported and deposited into a recycling site for profit.
